Rental Pricing

3 days$1,800
1 week$2,650
1 month$6,850
3-day minimum on the telehandler (heavy-haul delivery is included in the rate).

Why the 3-Day Minimum?

The telehandler is too big to deliver on our standard trailer. We use a third-party heavy hauler to transport it to and from your jobsite. The delivery cost is real and we bake it into the rental rate. The 3-day minimum makes that math work for everyone.

What This Machine Does Best

The telehandler is built for one thing: moving heavy material vertically. Where a forklift can lift but cannot reach, the telehandler extends the boom out and up. Common uses in Las Vegas:

Roofing material lifts (shingles, tiles, underlayment to roof level)
Setting roof trusses and floor joists
Beam and column placement during framing
Loading heavy material to upper floors (second and third story construction)
HVAC unit placement on rooftops
Heavy landscape work (large boulders, palms, water features)
Pool equipment placement
Solar panel and equipment lifts

What Customers Say

โ˜…โ˜…โ˜…โ˜…โ˜…

"Great service, great prices. Seriously the best in the valley. We have tried so many companies and these guys show up when they say they are going to, for the price they say, and the machines are always clean and in good running order. We rented the telehandler machine for a big roofing job and it worked perfect for loading material in hard to reach places. Thanks and we will be back!!"

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this a Lull? A reach forklift? What's the right name for this machine?
All of those names refer to the same type of machine. Most common terms:
  • Telehandler โ€” the industry/manufacturer term (short for "telescopic handler")
  • Lull โ€” a brand of telehandler owned by JLG. Construction workers in the West and Southwest often call EVERY telehandler a "Lull" the way people say "Kleenex" for any tissue.
  • Reach forklift or variable-reach forklift โ€” descriptive terms used by dealers and rental yards (this is what MAK Industries calls them)
  • Rough terrain forklift โ€” OSHA's official classification
  • Boom forklift, telescopic forklift, construction forklift โ€” informal variants
Our machine is a JLG 10-42 (also sold under the SkyTrak brand, same company). 10,000 lb lift capacity, 42 ft of reach. Same functional class as a Lull, a Skyjack, a Genie, a Gehl โ€” same job, slightly different brand of yellow-and-black iron.
Do I need a license to operate a telehandler?
Telehandlers are classified as rough terrain forklifts under OSHA. Operators must be trained and certified per OSHA 29 CFR 1910.178 for commercial jobsites. Most contractors already have qualified operators. If you do not, we can arrange owner-operator service so a qualified operator runs the machine.
Why does the telehandler not have A/C?
The JLG 10-42 is configured as an open-air operator station rather than an enclosed cab. This is common in this class of telehandler. For Las Vegas summer work, plan for early morning or late afternoon operation to avoid the worst heat. For long jobs in summer, our mini excavator and skid steer (both cabbed with A/C) may be a better fit if the work allows.
What is the difference between forks and a bucket on the telehandler?
Our telehandler comes with standard carriage forks for pallet handling, beam lifting, and material placement. Buckets and other attachments are available from third parties but are not part of our standard rental inventory. If your job needs a specific attachment, call (702) 340-4025 and we can usually source it.
How do you deliver such a big machine?
The telehandler weighs ~22,500 lb and is too large for our standard trailer. We hire a specialty heavy hauler for delivery and pickup. The cost is real and we have already baked it into the rental rate. This is why the rental has a 3-day minimum.
How much space does the telehandler need to operate?
The telehandler is wider than a skid steer (about 8 feet) and requires room to maneuver. For tight residential lots, evaluate access before booking. For commercial jobsites, this is rarely an issue. Call us with photos of your access if you are uncertain.
What about insurance?
Two options. Provide your own Certificate of Insurance with $1M general liability and full equipment replacement value coverage (telehandler replacement value is around $80K-100K, so the COI must reflect that), or purchase our damage waiver. Most commercial roofers and framers carry their own COI as standard practice.
