I'm Bill Tolley. I own Dragon Equipment Rentals and I operate the equipment myself when I'm not running the business.

I started this company because every time I needed equipment, I got the same runaround at the big rental yards. Hidden fees. Equipment that showed up late, dirty, or low on fuel. Phones that nobody answered. I figured the Las Vegas Valley deserved better.

So I built a fleet of well-maintained CAT and JLG equipment, set up honest pricing with everything included, and answer the phone every time it rings. When you call (702) 340-4025, you get me. Not a call center, not a queue.

FREQUENTLY ASKED

Do you deliver and pick up?
Yes. Free delivery and pickup within 15 miles of Las Vegas. Beyond 15 miles, we charge a transparent flat fee disclosed at booking. No surprises.
What's the minimum rental period?
2-day minimum on most equipment. The telehandler is a 3-day minimum because we outsource its delivery to a specialty heavy hauler, and that cost is baked into the rental rate.
Is the equipment cabbed with air conditioning?
Our mini excavator (CAT 304 E2 CR) and skid steer (CAT 262D3) are fully cabbed with A/C. Critical in Las Vegas heat. The telehandler (JLG 10-42) is an open-air operator station with no A/C.
Do I need to bring my own insurance?
Two options. You can provide a Certificate of Insurance with adequate coverage, or you can purchase our damage waiver as part of the rental. Most contractors use their own COI. Most homeowners go with the damage waiver. Either works.
How does the security deposit work?
We authorize a hold on your credit card via a secure Stripe link. It's a hold, not a charge. We only capture funds if there is damage, late return, or fuel charge at the end of the rental. Most customers never see anything beyond the rental charge itself.
What about fuel?
Every machine is delivered with a full tank of diesel. We pick up the equipment at the end of the rental, so you do not need to take it anywhere. If you want to top it off yourself, bring diesel to the jobsite in fuel cans or call a mobile fuel delivery service. If we refuel for you, you pay the current pump price plus a flat $30 refueling fee. Tank sizes: mini excavator 12.2 gallons, skid steer 27.7, telehandler 35. We always measure to the nearest eighth of a tank in your favor.
Are there any hidden fees?
No. No environmental fees. No fuel surcharges. No weekend surcharges. The rental rate plus your deposit hold (which usually drops off untouched) is what you pay. Everything else is disclosed up front in writing.
Can you operate the equipment for me?
Yes. I run the equipment myself for trenching, auger work, excavation, concrete demolition, land clearing, telehandler lifting, and material hauling. Every job is different. Call to discuss details and which equipment fits the work, since the rate depends on the machine and attachment used. Hourly rates start at $175 per hour with a 4-hour minimum. Time starts from loading the equipment at the yard and runs until it is returned to the yard.
What payment methods do you accept?
Credit and debit cards via Stripe. We send you a secure payment link by email or text — you enter your card info, we never see it. Cards on file are used for deposit authorization and final payment.
How quickly can you deliver?
Same-day or next-day for most rentals, subject to availability. Call (702) 340-4025 and we will check availability while you are on the phone. We typically lock in deliveries with 1-2 days' notice during busy periods.
