When We Text You
Dragon Equipment Rentals uses SMS / text messaging strictly for transactional, rental-related communication. By providing your mobile phone number at booking or reservation, you consent to receive text messages from us related to:
- Booking confirmations — confirmation of your rental reservation, equipment, dates
- Delivery reminders — 48-hour, 24-hour, and same-day reminders before scheduled delivery
- Delivery confirmation requests — we ask you to confirm you'll be on site before we load the trailer
- Pickup reminders — when we're scheduled to retrieve the equipment
- Operational alerts — schedule changes, weather delays, machine issues
- Damage or incident reporting — if there's a problem during your rental
- Review requests — a one-time request after your rental ends asking you to leave a Google review
- Customer service replies — when you text us with questions, we reply
What We Don't Do
- No marketing or promotional texts. We don't send mass-marketing campaigns, promotional offers, or unsolicited sales texts.
- No selling or sharing your number. We never sell, rent, or share your mobile number with third parties for marketing.
- No automated marketing campaigns. Every text is either triggered by your rental activity or sent personally by Bill.
Message Frequency
Most customers receive 3-7 text messages during a typical rental: booking confirmation, 48-hour and 24-hour reminders, delivery confirmation, pickup reminder, and (optionally) a post-rental review request. Outside of an active rental, we don't text you.
Standard Messaging Rates Apply
Standard message and data rates from your mobile carrier may apply. Dragon Equipment Rentals does not charge for text messages.
How to Opt Out
You can opt out of SMS communication at any time by replying STOP to any text message we send you. After opting out, we will not text you about future rentals. Note that opting out of SMS does not opt you out of email communication or phone calls about active rentals.
