What We Collect
When you use this website or rent equipment from us, we collect the following:
- Information you give us: name, company name, phone number, email address, jobsite address, and insurance information you enter into our reservation, quote request, or contact forms.
- Rental and contract records: signed rental agreements, the dates and equipment you rented, your typed and drawn signatures, the timestamp and IP address at signing, and a copy of the signed PDF.
- Payment information: when you authorize a deposit hold or pay for a rental, your card details are entered directly into Stripe's secure payment form. We never see, store, or transmit your full card number. Stripe sends us only a payment identifier, the last four digits of your card, and the card brand (e.g., Visa).
- Website analytics: we use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site. This includes anonymized device information, browser type, pages visited, time spent, and approximate geographic location based on IP address.
- Cookies: we use a small number of first-party cookies for basic site function and analytics. We do not use cookies for advertising or third-party tracking.
How We Use It
We use the information you provide to:
- Confirm and fulfill your rental reservation, deliver and pick up equipment, and communicate with you about your rental.
- Process deposit holds, rental payments, damage capture, and refunds through Stripe.
- Maintain a legally required record of executed rental agreements.
- Send you a confirmation email, your signed contract, and any necessary updates about your rental.
- Comply with our tax, insurance, and regulatory obligations.
- Improve the website and customer experience using anonymized analytics.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not share it with marketers or advertisers.
Who We Share With
We share the minimum information necessary with:
- Stripe — to process payments and deposit holds. Stripe's privacy policy is at stripe.com/privacy.
- Resend — to send transactional emails (confirmations, signed contracts). Resend's privacy policy is at resend.com/legal/privacy-policy.
- Cloudflare — for website hosting and security.
- Google Analytics — for anonymized website analytics.
- Our insurance carrier and legal counsel — only when necessary to handle a claim, dispute, or regulatory matter related to a specific rental.
- Law enforcement or courts — only when legally required.
How Long We Keep It
We retain executed rental agreements, payment records, and related correspondence for seven (7) years from the date of the rental. This is consistent with industry standard practice and lets us meet tax, insurance, and legal obligations.
Quote requests and other inquiries that do not result in a rental are retained for one (1) year, then deleted.
Website analytics data is retained for fourteen (14) months at the default Google Analytics setting.
Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct inaccurate information.
- Ask us to delete information that is not subject to a legal retention requirement (rental contracts must be retained for 7 years).
- Opt out of Google Analytics tracking using the official browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

Data Security
Card data is handled entirely by Stripe, which is PCI-DSS Level 1 certified. Your rental and contract data is stored on Cloudflare infrastructure with at-rest and in-transit encryption. Signed PDFs are retained in encrypted storage.
Children's Privacy
This website and our services are intended for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes to This Policy
If we materially change this policy we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify active rental customers by email.
